Tobii C12

Communicate, access and develop

Tobii C12The Tobii C12 is a full featured AAC device that gives users unlimited communication opportunities.

Users communicate via text or symbols that generate synthesized or digitized speech, connect with others through e-mail, text message or chat. With the Tobii C12 users can write and edit text, surf the Internet, play music and games, control their environment, and manage their day – making independence easier than ever before.

Module based eye control

The Tobii C12 can be controlled in many ways including the built in touch screen, keyboard, mouse, headmouse, switches, or the optional eye control unit, the Tobii CEye . Switching input methods is easy thanks to the modular construction.

Sandra using Tobii C12 The eye tracker unit docks seamlessly into the Tobii C12 and operates accurately regardless of glasses, contact lenses, eye color or light conditions. For those with uncontrollable head movements, the eye tracker’s reliability and large track box makes for effective eye control without the need for recalibration.

The communication software of choice

Users are free to choose the communication package that best fits their needs.

The Tobii C12 comes pre-installed with Tobii Communicator standard edition, which allows users to communicate using text or the more than 15,000 included SymbolStix® symbols. It comes with ready made page sets that help therapists set up an individual’s language. The optional Communicator Premium supports e-mail, text messaging, and environmental control.

Easy to set up, use and personalize

The Tobii C12 is easy to setup and adjust to a user’s input needs, voice preferences and other options. Multiple profiles can be stored, making it easy to select a profile according to an input change, language profile or to share a unit among users.

Personalize the Tobii C12 by replacing the side panels to give the device a discrete or colorful appearance. With the built-in camera it is possible to capture an image and turn it into a communication topic "on the fly".

Built to be used

The Tobii C12 is lightweight and can easily be carried. With many different mounting systems it is possible to mount the C12 on any wheelchair, walker or bed frame.

Thanks to its design, long lasting hot swappable batteries, powerful processor and stable operating system, this device offers users the strongest, fastest and most flexible AAC device on the market.
