What software is compatible with the Mercury? |

You can install any Windows XP-compatible software via CD-ROM, an external drive or the Internet. Be sure to find out from the publisher if the particular program is compatible with Windows XP or has special requirements*.
*Some software programs may not be accessible. It may require additional utility software depending on access method.

Does the Mercury have IR? |

Yes, built-in infrared capabilities enable the device to be used as an environmental control unit. The Mercury has pre-programmed signals for most brands of televisions, VCRs, DVD players and cable receivers to eliminate the inconveniences associated with programming the device. In addition, you can turn on and off lights (including brighten or dim), and appliances using X-10 Infrared Commands.

Can you use a switch with the Mercury? If so, what are the scanning options? |

The Mercury can be used by a 1-, 2- or multi-switch user or joystick input can also be used to control the mouse.
Scanning options vary based on the software you are using. Speaking Dynamically Pro and many popular scanning programs offer the following:
- Single-switch auto scan and single- or dual-switch step scanning
- Group scanning
- Flexible scan order

We offer a custom table-top stand that doubles as a mounting plate to the quick releases for the Profiler (CJT Enterprises) and DaeSSy (Daedalus Technologies) mounts.

How can I connect to the Internet? |

The Mercury lets you get online in three different ways:
- Use its built-in 56K modem for a dialup Internet connection
- Use a USB Ethernet adapter if you are connected to a network (#MYEA)
- Use a USB wireless adapter (#MYLWUSBA) and a wireless router (#MLWDSLR)

Yes, ATI offers additional batteries and an optional external battery charger for use with the Mercury. We also offer a Wheelchair Battery Cable to connect the device to a powered wheelchair for continuous power. |

Our Mercury Rental Program allows a potential buyer to rent a Mercury for up to 3 months. We also offer a Professional Preview Program, which is limited to clinicians or other licensed professionals who recommend assistive technology. Please visit our Rental and Preview page for more information.

Yes, devices will be available within approximately 2-6 weeks from the date of your contract depending on the number of requests received and time of year.

Does the Mercury come with a warranty? |
| A |
The Mercury comes with a 30-day money-back guarantee and a One-Year All-Inclusive Warranty (72K PDF) from the date of shipment. This warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship as well as damage coverage for up to three incidents during the warranty year. It does not cover theft, loss, tampering, or cosmetic damage. It can be extended for an additional year after the one-year warranty period expires, up to a maximum of three extensions. |
