Madalaine Pugliese named Computerworld Honors Program Laureate

Madalaine Pugliese Madalaine Pugliese, at left, has over 27 years of experience in public education and is a nationally recognized speaker and authority in assistive technology. Her work on the Stages framework with Assistive Technology, Inc. has earned her recognition from the Computerworld Honors Program. This program is dedicated to identifying the men and women, the organizations and institutions that are leading the technology revolution and to recording the impact of their achievements on society. Since 1988, this prestigious award has been given to the "New Heroes" of the information age.

Most importantly, designation as a Computerworld Honors Program Laureate means that Stages will be preserved, protected, and made available to both scholars and the general public, not only on line but also through a program of source and license donations to affiliated universities, libraries, and research institutions around the world.

Congratulations to author Madalaine Pugliese and the Assistive Technology team for making Stages an award-winning product!
