Mercury SGD can be used with a touch screen, keyboard and mouse, onscreen keyboard, switch, wheelchair joystick, headmouse or alternative pointer.
Mercury SGD's built-in environmental controls serve as Electronic Aids to Daily Living (EADL). Users can independently control equipment remotely using infrared or X-10 technology (X-10 accessories for controlling lights and small appliances are sold separately). Over 4,000 pre-programmed signals for most brands of televisions, VCRs, DVD players and other household appliances are built into the unit.
